No matter whether you choose mangrove or open sea kayaking, our tranquil waters are sure to offer you a relaxing way to appreciate the Island’s beautiful birds and fish.
Payment methods: interested activity fee can be charged directly to your room or it can be paid to the watersports centre.
Suitable for: Ages 8 and above. You must have basic kayaking and swimming skills.
Duration: 2 hours
Group size: up to 4 people may participate in sea kayaking at one time or 7 people at one time for mangrove kayaking (Larger group sizes may be requested in advance).
What to bring: Swimsuit, shorts and t-shirt (you may get a little wet), hat sunglasses, waterproof items. Please note that the Desert Islands Watersports Centre will not be responsible for your personal belongings.
Where it is: The Mangrove Lagoon route will depend on tide levels, the Sea Kayaking starting point is at the launch point of the Desert Islands Watersports Centre.
What you might see: Flying fish, sea birds and sea turtles and flamingos.
